How does live (in-play) betting work?

Betting on a match while it's in progress.

Once a match kicks off, its markets stay open and the odds update continuously to reflect the play. Because live prices move quickly:

  • Markets may suspend briefly around key moments — a goal, a card, or a VAR check — and reopen a few seconds later.

  • If a price drifts while a selection is in your slip, the slip shows you the new price and asks you to confirm before placing, so you never take a worse price by accident. You can change this in Settings → Odds-change acceptance.

  • If the price has already moved too far by the time you place, the bet is rejected — just re-add the selection at the current price and place again.
